Our Team
Geli Latsa (Director)
an experienced Manager with more than 30 years of professional experience in the shipping, transport and logistics industry, being the chairman and CEO of well known group of transport companies in Greece. An expert in the transport Industry with deep knowledge in all aspects of modern transport and logistics and an extensive experience in the management of shipping lines and their operations in different markets. Long experience in operations, human resources and management departments of numerous transport companies. The last 12 years has been active in the research and development in the areas of transport, logistics, environmental aspects, crisis and disaster management, and cybersecuirty. She also has an extensive expertise on communication and liaison aspects especially on the domain of research and development. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management from the Open University of Cyprus and a Master’s Degree on Disaster and Crisis Management Strategies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has followed a minor on Cybersecurity from the Kapodistrian University of Athens and has co-authored several papers.
Eric C.B. Cauchi (Senior Project Manager)
has 37 years of experience in defining and implementing strategic objectives for shipping, specialising in defining new services, supporting shipping lines in organizing their trade and the optimum use of their fleet. He studied at University of Liverpool (UK) Pure Chemistry with Computers Studies and Geochemistry. He acquired also a Diploma of Geosciences and a Certificate in Contemporary Science, Natural Science and Mathematics from Open University in UK. He has also followed a number of logistics and transport of goods related seminars.
Athina Latsa (Transport Project Manager)
has more than 25 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector. She has been working in the operations, road transport of goods, clients service and contracts departments of many well known companies in the transports and logistics sector in Greece. She has been specialised in road transport of special and sensitive goods (e.g. tobacco products), in negotiations with clients and truck companies, in forwarding services and in the planning and organisation of transport routes. She is currently the manager of road transport department of SEAbility.
Eleni S. Krikigianni (Project Manager - Researcher)
has graduated from the Urban Planning engineering school of the University of Thessaly in 2013. She holds an MSc degree in urban planning and regional development from the University of Thessaly (Level 7 EQF) and she has also obtained an MSc degree in Geoinformatics from the Harokopeio University of Greece (Level 7 EQF). In 2022, she has, also, got her MBA from the National Technical University of Athens and Athens University of Economics & Business (Level 7 EQF). Eleni has a significant experience in environmental engineering, transport planning and security & risks assessment. She has been involved as project manager in several EU-funded projects (HE,H2020, FP7, Erasmus+ and national projects). Her research interests include sophisticated techniques of utilising geographical information systems and remote sensing techniques as well as the simulation /modelling of geographical data. Regarding application domains, she is mostly active in the field of environment, focusing on transport sustainability and ICT technologies, logistics operations, freight transport and port management.
Eirini Mpouzalakou (Operations Manager)
has many years of experience in shipping transport and logistics sector. She has been specialised in operations and in managing the whole chain of container transport and delivery. She has experience in client accounts follow up and management, in transport finances, in operations and logistics of shipping agencies, transport companies and road transport operations.
Kenneth Cauchi (Assistant Project Manager)
Having recently obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business and Tourism from Plymouth University, Kenneth has accumulated novice experience and insight in the industries of Tourism and Shipping as an intern. He is currently assistant project manager involved in the projects which SEAbility participates in.
Vasiliki Palla (Assistant Project Manager)
Vasiliki Palla is a graduate Civil Engineer of the National Technical University of Athens, with expertise in the Hydraulic sector (hydrology, water resources, hydraulic engineering). She has undertaken researcher’s and project manager’s tasks in several EU-funded projects (H2020, Maltese projects, Νational projects). Her research area focuses mainly on the Environmental, Hydraulic & Water Resources as well as on the transportation sector.
