The INTE-TRANSIT project, co-funded by the EU MED Programme, was launched in January 2013. The consortium Kick-off meeting took place at the premises of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems in Athens, Greece, on 17-18 January 2013. The Project coordinator, Dr. Angelos Amditis welcome the 18 participants that represented the 8 consortium partners and presented the project overall scope and objectives as well as the basic organizational and financial structure. Following this the partners presented themselves and their aspirations relevant to the project (their role in the project, main contribution, state of the art of their technology). All aspects regarding administrative issues, financial issues and work planning broken down in the work packages were thoroughly examined and discussed during this two days meeting in order for the consortium to start its work and cooperation from a solid basis.
