MOSES Final Event was organized in a hybrid format, on December 5th, 2023,  at 09.00-15.00 CET.

MOSES final event was hosted physically in Piraeus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in Piraeus, Greece and virtually in MS team platform.

Started in July 2020, the aim of MOSES project was to enhance the SSS component of the European supply chain by addressing the vulnerabilities and strains related to the operation of large containerships. A two-fold strategy was employed, in order to reduce the total time to berth for TEN-T Hub Ports and to stimulate the use of SSS feeder services to small ports that have limited or no infrastructure

With a total budget of around 8 million Euro funding by the European Commission, 17 partners from 7 European countries worked together from 2020 to 2023 and joined their expertise to enhance the sustainable short-sea shipping, through the achievement of beyond state-of-the-art applied know-how and technological developments. Its innovation potential covers both vessel design aspects, as well as software tools and accompanying governance models to improve related logistics processes.

Ms Elena Krikigianni, Project Manager at SEABility, delivered a presentation on the Proliferation of MOSES impact.
